Regenerative Agriculture and Quality Compost for Utah

About HDSW

High Desert Soil Works (HDSW) is a consulting firm specializing in soil fertility using biological and regenerative analyses and techniques. We focus on helping growers of all sizes understand the soil food web, nutrient cycling,  and how healthy soils function.  We also help clients understand how their management practices may be helping or hindering their soil health.  High Desert Soil Works provides analytical and consulting services certified through the Dr Elaine Ingham’s Soil Food Web School. HDSW also conducts onsite composting workshops and educational presentations focusing on biological and regenerative agriculture, soil nutrient cycling and the soil food web.

Eric Feiler has been working with Dr. Elaine Ingham for nearly 8 years. After attending a weeklong workshop, Eric entered Dr. Ingham’s Soil Food Web School and became a certified consultant. In 2019 Eric was hired by the Soil Food Web School as an instructor/mentor teaching microscopy, composting, and soil ecology to students in the Consultant Training Program and the Certified Lab Program. He has spent the years since meeting Dr. Ingham helping people in southern Utah improve their soil, grow healthier food, stabilize and beautify their landscapes, and most importantly make compost.
